赵启拿刀背在胯下野兽的屁股上壹抽就冲了出去。
Zhao Qi smacked the blade of his knife against the beast’s rump beneath him, and in a flash, he charged forward.
瞧见对方疑似首领的几人中的壹人直冲己方棚主而来，跟宋棚主要好的几位立即冲上去拦截。
Seeing that one of the apparent leaders of the enemy was heading straight for their own Penglord, the few close to Song Penglord immediately rushed to intercept.
时序战器只有壹把，若是被对方抢去，自己这边绝对会完蛋。

另两名冲来之人听到这话，立即悟到了什么。
The other two men charging at him suddenly caught on to his insinuation.
「妳们驱使那些人来送死，为的是收缴他们的时序？！」
“Are you saying you sent those people to their deaths just to collect their Chronos?!”
「没错！」
“That’s right!”
赵启壹刀挥出，这两人的武技不错，挥著铁棍跟他战在了壹起，但他们心中却是胆寒，这荒车大货队，连自己人的时序也在惦记。
Zhao Qi lashed out with his blade. The two had decent combat skills, swinging iron staffs as they clashed with him, yet dread crept into their hearts—the Desolate Freight Crew was willing to covet even their own people’s Chronos.

「海祥！」棚主在后方将围攻自己的人推倒后，瞧见这幕，立时声嘶力竭。
“Haixiang!” From behind, as Penglord shoved aside those who had cornered him, he spotted the scene and immediately let out a hoarse, tearful cry.
「死吧！」赵启胯下巨兽冲撞人群冲来。
“Die!” Zhao Qi urged his colossal beast to charge into the crowd, crashing through them.
瞧见这整个刀身都冒著金中带红虚焰的武器，宋棚主感觉到了彻底的绝望。
As Song Penglord saw the weapon whose entire blade burned with a golden, reddish phantom flame, he felt utter despair.
他已经知道，这是时序增幅超过壹万之后才会有的颜色。
He already knew this was the color that signified Chronos Amplification beyond ten thousand.

Several people around him cried out in rage.

宋棚主胸前闪动著四根线条，他眼中热泪涌现，举起每击10N的长刀冲向巨兽，和巨兽上那道恶匪的身影。
Four lines flickered across Song Penglord’s chest; hot tears welled in his eyes as he raised his longsword, each strike delivering 10 Newtons, and charged toward the beast and the villainous bandit astride it.

赵启疯了般冲向前方。
Zhao Qi charged forward like a madman.
但那道摔落在地上的身影爬起来，那道如同凶神的目光瞪向自己时，赵启忽地醒悟过来。

Zhao Qi cast a panicked glance behind him. Clenching his teeth, he drove the blade into the beast beneath him.

“Help!”
他冲著前方那几位野兽背上的荒车首领喊道，但对方看他的眼神，却犹如看壹堆垃圾。
He shouted at the wild chariot leaders riding atop the savage beasts ahead, but their gaze at him was akin to looking at a pile of trash.
变异野兽痛苦吼叫，将赵启甩了出去。
The mutated beast howled in agony, flinging Zhao Qi off its back.
在失频之地，怪物与野兽们的寿命是他们唯壹可以补充的来源，此刻已然知晓保不住坐骑的赵启，在让怪物将自己甩出的时刻，毫不犹豫结果了这头驼行自己壹年多的变异野兽。
In the Shibin Wastes, the lifespans of monsters and beasts were the only replenishable resource. Zhao Qi, by now fully realizing he could not save his mount, did not hesitate in the moment he was thrown off by the monster to end the life of the mutated beast that had carried him for over a year.

“I dodged it!”
还在半空的赵启正惊喜自己躲过了这瞄准自己背心的必杀壹击，忽然他感觉自己摔落出去的身体被壹股力量猛地调转了方向。
Still midair, Zhao Qi was gleeful that he had dodged the killing strike aimed dead center at his back. Suddenly, he felt his tumbling body wrenched in a different direction by an unseen force.

身体在即将坠落地面之时不受控制的突然调转方向，迎著那柄疾射过来的长刀而去。
Just before hitting the ground, his body uncontrollably snapped around to meet the oncoming blade hurtling towards him.

“Aaaaargh!”
无尽的恐惧霎时占满了大脑。
In an instant, boundless terror flooded his mind.
赵启尖叫著晃动双臂想要阻止自己，但却始终差几厘米才能接触道地面，而那把刀已经直直射向自己脑袋。
Zhao Qi shrieked and flailed his arms, trying to stop himself, but still falling short of the ground by a mere few centimeters, while the knife shot straight at his head.
轰！狂风骤起。
Boom! A sudden gust of wind surged.
在最后这瞬间，他似乎看到壹辆幽灵列车极速驰骋在前方离地壹米的空中，绕著人群往车队后方而去。
In that final moment, he seemed to see a phantom train racing swiftly through the air a meter above the ground ahead, weaving past the crowd toward the rear of the convoy.

金辉包裹的长刀自头顶刺入赵启身体，如同收刀入鞘。
The long blade, enveloped in a golden radiance, pierced down from above into Zhao Qi’s body, as smoothly as a sword being sheathed.

这异动让后方野兽背上几人脸色壹变。
This sudden turn of events instantly changed the expressions of the few men on the backs of the beasts behind him.

他们目光扫向左右，那壹个个战斗的身影中，会是谁突然阴了赵启壹把？

忽然，他们听到了后方传来骚乱与惨叫。
Suddenly, they heard chaos and screams erupting from behind.
石双冰立即回首望去，正瞧见两道被抛上天的身影，红芒壹闪，他们就如同被散弹枪枪射中般嘭的炸开。
Shi Shuangbing immediately turned his head to look back, just in time to see two figures being tossed into the air. With a flash of crimson light, they burst apart with a bang, as if hit by a blast of buckshot.
「有人来了！」
“Someone’s coming!”
「谁！」
“Who?”
小作棚聚集地这边的人又惊又喜的看向对面后方，那里刚刚闪动起了两道Moexl的光芒。
The people from the Small Workpen Settlement looked back toward the rear, a mix of shock and joy in their eyes. There, two beams of Moxel light had just flickered.
那分明是两道四边形。
They were, unmistakably, two Quads.
暗幕般的天色中，对方故意向天际扩散出闪动的四边形，昭告著自己的到来。
Amid the dark, curtain-like sky, the stranger deliberately released flickering Quads toward the horizon, announcing their arrival.
宋棚主愣了两秒后低头看向刚刚还耀武扬威的尸首，他往前几步，将染血的时序战器壹把抽出，胸腹中长出了口气。
Song Penglord stared blankly for two seconds, then lowered his gaze to the still-belligerent corpse lying on the ground. He stepped forward, wrenching out the blood-stained Chronos weapon, and drew a deep breath from within his chest and abdomen.
「兄弟们！」
“Brothers!
「有高手来了，不是孬种的就随我来！」
“An expert is coming! Anyone who’s no coward, follow me!”
原本只是拼死抵抗，此刻却真的出现转机，棚主壹呼百应，剩余的人都边打边退的聚了过来，跟著他以弧线往货队侧翼杀去。
Originally, they were merely resisting with their last strength, but now a true turning point had emerged. Penglord’s call rallied an immediate response; the remaining fighters, retreating while engaging in battle, gathered around him and launched an arc-shaped assault on Cargo Crew’s flank.
宁洋愣愣看著后方，心灵链接画面中左非闲所在的地方，就是那里。
Ning Yang stared blankly behind him. On the Syn-Link screen, the spot where Zuo Feixian was located—right there.
「这，我在做梦啊？」
“This… am I dreaming?”
他身旁原本绝望的四人身体绷紧互相抵靠在壹起，牛娃震惊的低声道：「有路过的好心人？」
The four men beside him, who had been in utter despair, stiffened and braced against each other. Niuwa whispered in shock, “A passerby lending a hand?”
「是，是甲子间。」宁洋喃喃道。

四人转动脑袋看向后方的骚乱。
The four twisted their heads to look at the chaos behind them.
是谁都有可能，但来人是甲子间则让他们万万想不到。

壹个货队长凑到二把手身边：「后面有人来了，力哥，怎么办。」

Ali coldly stared at Song Penglord across from him.
「是我失算了。去两人把姓宋的收了吧，今夜要拿不到个四边形失念Moexl，死这么多人，我没法给老大交代。」
“I miscalculated. Send two men to finish off that Song bastard. If we can’t secure a Quad-level Moxel tonight after all these deaths, I won’t have a way to answer to the boss.”
「是。」这人心有余悸的看了眼赵启的尸体，转身对著两名货队长壹咬喝，便策兽向著宋梓林的方向冲去。
“Understood.” The man, still shaken by Zhao Qi’s corpse, turned and barked orders at two Cargo Crew squad leaders, then spurred his animal toward Song Zilin’s direction, charging forward.
阿力从背后取下柄铁锤，双手拽著，两腿壹夹胯下野兽，驱驶它掉转身形。
Ali pulled an iron hammer from his back, gripping it with both hands, and clamped his legs around the beast beneath him, spurring it to turn around.
荒车大货队的后方。
At the rear of the desolate Cargo Crew wagon.
当站在门口的洛宾胸口闪动出四边形的光芒后，左徐二人大惊失色。
When Robin Lo, standing by the door, flashed the light of a Quad on his chest, Xu and Zuo were both astonished.
「妳也是四边形？」
“You’re also a Quad?”
陈老师两人看向杨子藏更是壹副见鬼的神色。
Professor Chen and the others stared at Yang Zicang as if they’d seen a ghost.
「我的妈呀，这里什么时候有这么多四边形Moexl了。」

小刘颤颤惊惊的拽著自己老师的胳膊，看著身前虚胖的胖子。
Xiao Liu, trembling, clutched his teacher’s arm, staring at the portly figure in front of them.
洛宾得意的将头壹擡，哼了声后跳下了车，他转头看向杨子藏道：「给我把时序战器呗，妳那么多好玩意儿。」
Robin Lo, raising his head smugly and snorting, jumped off the carriage. He turned to Yang Zicang and said, “How about giving me the Chronos artifact? You’ve got so many cool things.”
杨子藏瞥了他壹眼：「别想著贪污啊，这是我打算以后给小雨的。另外，先加入我的货队，否则无法与外界联系。」
Yang Zicang gave him a glance: “Don’t even think about embezzling it—I’m planning to keep it for Xiaoyu in the future. Besides, you need to join my Cargo Crew first, or you’ll have no way to contact the outside world.”
